How to unlock and craft items in Rage 2

Learn how to unlock crafting as well as how to craft items in Rage 2.

Rage 2 is finally here! As you explore the wasteland and take down muties, you’re bound to find yourself taking some hits as well. While you can purchase Health Infusions and other items from the various vendors around the world, knowing how to craft items will be much more beneficial to players. In this guide we’ll teach you everything you need to do to unlock crafting, as well as tell you how to craft items in Rage 2.

How to unlock and craft items in Rage 2

As players make their way through Rage 2, there are several items they can make use of. These items include things like the Wingstick, Grenades, Health Infusions, Overdrive Infusions, Ability Infusions, and Turret Drones. Each of these items can be upgraded, and players can even learn how to craft them, allowing them to stock up on more at any point if they have the proper resources.

In order to be able to craft items, you’re going to need to open your Inventory in the menu. From here, you can select the various items you want to craft and combine them, if you have enough Chemical Components and Mechanical Components. Before you can do this, though, you’re going to need to unlock the ability to craft items.

To unlock crafting you will need to find Schematics for each of the items that you want to craft. For example, if you want to be able to craft Health Infusions, then you’ll need to find at least one Health Infusion Schematic. These can often be found at the various vendors found around the wastelands, so make sure you’re stopping and checking out their wares when you drop into town for goods.

You can also unlock additional schematics for each item that you can craft. While finding and using one Health Infusion Schematic will allow you to craft the item, you can use a second Health Infusion Schematic to unlock level 3 of the item, which allows you to regenerate 25% more health.
