How long does it take to beat Rage 2?

Unlike other games released by Bethesda—like Fallout 4 or The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim—players can expect a much shorter playtime in Rage 2. In fact, it only took me 10 hours to wrap up the main story and find all of the abilities and weapons that you can acquire in the game. This included a couple hours of looking around the map for new Arks, which you can loot to earn access to the various Nanotrite abilities and weapons available to Walker.

There's a massive world for players to explore in Rage 2.

It’s a rather short playtime for a game that costs $60, especially a game that’s touted as a triple A title. The good news is, those who don’t have a lot of time to sink into the game will be able to finish up the story in a relatively quick manner. The story itself is spread across eight main missions, though some of these missions have multiple parts, and the primary mission of the game has six missions tied to it that aren’t displayed in the main mission line-up.

There are quite a few things to do out in the world, though. Activities like Bandit Dens, Roadblocks, and other assorted baddie groups can be found around the world in Rage 2, so there’s definitely enough to keep you busy here for a good couple of hours, so long as you don’t mind aimlessly wandering the wasteland and just blasting baddies away with your shotgun.
