Shackcast Episode 057: Gordon Freeman's VR Adventures
The Shackcast is back with an episode that delves into the nitty gritty of Valve Index, Sea of Thieves, and much more.
The Shackcast is back! On this ultra-long episode, Asif and David chat about Valve Index, the Sea of Thieves Anniversary Update, and much more. Asif takes us back in time to 1999 and reads us his only Amazon product review. Lola, the Chairpet of the Board at Shacknews, also graces listeners with her presence before heading to her Mickey Mouse bed for a nap.

It is being pushed out in phases.
The first phase was cosmetic, with the new logo, and it added a lot of tweaks for SEO.
The second phase, which is what I was referring to on the Shackcast, is going to introduce Native LOL, reintroduce Mercury, and add some other stuff....
We have been working on this since last year.
And yeah, there is a phase three.

I think you got that flipped. The cameras being added to the Rift S is to help with tracking the controllers around a wider area for games like Beat Saber for which the Rift S designers used the game as a baseline. Two cameras only on the Quest will be sufficient for games that only keep the controllers in front.
I have the Odyssey Plus and have ran into similar issues with the limited cameras. Rift S adds 3 more cameras (one on each side and one on top) to track wider motions of the controllers.
