ShackStream: On the eve of the Anno 1800 Open Beta

The Anno series has been a favorite of supply chain strategy fans for many years on the PC platform. After some underwater and outer space departures for the franchise in recent years, the developers at Blue Byte are returning to the glory days of Anno with the upcoming release of Anno 1800.

An open beta period for Anno 1800 begins later this evening for North American players, so we decided to fire up the classic Anno 1404 one last time to wet our beaks in preparation for the public getting their first hands-on look at the beta fo the new game.

On today’s ShackStream, we go hard at making wine, catching fish, trading spice, growing weed, and delivering leather-bound books to Patricians in the classic Anno 1404, also known as Dawn of Discovery in North American markets.

The fun kicks off at 4:15 PM EDT (1:15 PDT) on the Official Shacknews Twitch Channel.
