The Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun is a must-have weapon for lovers of the scattergun variety and if you want to get your hands on this weapon, you’ll need to be ready for a grind. How to get the Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun

Getting your hands on this fine exotic weapon won’t be easy. If you really want to get the Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun then you’re going to need to put on your best grinding gear and make your way through the streets of Washington D.C., hunting down Outcast bosses.

Unlike the Chatterbox SMG or even the Liberty Exotic Pistol, getting the Sweet Dreams is more of a roll of the dice, a decision left entirely up to RNG. Being as it’s an Outcast faction-based weapon, you’ll need to hunt down named Outcast bosses and kill them for a chance at grabbing this drop. While the dice roll is random, of course, you can do a couple of things to increase the likelihood that you’ll pick up the Sweet Dreams during your next grinding marathon.

To increase your drop chances, you’re going to want to complete Outcast based missions. These always guarantee that you’ll fight at least one named Outcast boss, which gives you at least one chance to grab the weapon when the boss drops its loot. You can also bump up the difficulty on the mission to Hard or even Challenging, if you’ve unlocked that high, to further increase the drop chances of better gear in the mission. Finally, just start grinding out missions like the Potomac Event Center or even the Roosevelt Island Stronghold (which holds at least three named bosses to defeat).

What really makes the Sweet Dreams so special is the perks that are available on the weapon.

Sweet Dreams

Scoring a melee attack after swapping to this weapon will grant you a 35% bonus armor buff and the Sandman debuff. Killing an enemy with the Sandman debuff active will reapply the bonus armor.

Sandman

Will prevent enemies from using armor kits or from receiving healing from any other source.

Evasive

While you have the Sweet Dreams equipped, dodging will reload 1% of your current weapon’s magazine.
