There are roughly six versions of The Division 2 that you can purchase—though some of them are going to be a bit harder to get your hands on, especially this close to release. At the end of the day, though, finding the right version of the game is all about deciding how much time you plan to put into it. If you’re like me, and you plan to spend a good deal of time with The Division 2, then getting one of the higher-tier editions is probably a good idea, as it offers some additional goodies, including the Year 1 Pass.

      I ponied for the Ultimate edition, but I know I'll get my time out of it, especially after the two beta weekends. Can't wait to dive in tonight.

      went with Ult. ed. myself. Seeing as to how much content they put in Div1, and this one is launching from a genuinely better place in development. Oh yes, even Ubi will have to work to fuck this up.

      This doesn't really explain what you get in the different versions. What advantage or benefit are the additional perks for gold/ult? What length is the dlc that I'd included and will this content be available for lower tier versions via in-game unlock?
