ShackStream: Time to APE OUT

The newest top-down action brawler from Devolver Digital is not here to monkey around.

Every once in a while, the indie game scene cranks out an idea that you never knew you wanted until you see it in action. APE OUT is the perfect example of this. The game has a simple premise - guide a previously captive ape on a bloody crusade against his captors against a backdrop of hyper-aggressive jazz. Clearly this is the best idea ever.

APE OUT comes to us from Devolver Digital, the prolific publisher of such gems like Hotline Miami, Shadow Warrior, and Broforce. It has a unique art style and is full of brutal violence. The Shacknews Stream Team is gonna give this one the old college try today and we are pretty excited.

The fun begins at 3:15 PM EST (12:15 PM PST) on the Official Shacknews Twitch Channel.
