Apex Legends is a new battle royale game from Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind the Titanfall 2. Unlike other battle royale games, Apex Legends uses some light hero mechanics through what’s known as Legends. Apex Legends overview
Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game is available through PlayStation 4 and Xbox One via the console’s stores as well as Origin for PC players.
Players must work together in a team of three to be the last team standing. At the beginning of the match, each player is given a chance in turn to select what Legend they wish to play. Because there are no double-ups, players should work together to pick Legends that synergize well.
After picking a place to land, players will begin looting for guns, armor, attachments, and other weapons and items. An always-shrinking circle forces players into a smaller and smaller area, ensuring fights between squads.
Being a free-to-play game, Apex Legends makes its money through its in-game store. Players can purchase Apex Coins in bundles, which are then used to purchase new Legends and various cosmetics. While Legends can be bought with real-world money, players can also unlock them by simply playing enough.
