Far Cry 5 ended with a massive blast and Far Cry: New Dawn crawls out of the fallout 17 years later. The nuclear event, called The Collapse, has devastated the world and players get tossed into the mix where remnants of the horrible cult in the previous game are reformed and trying to rebuild while fighting off attacks from a new enemy faction. If you grab a digital copy via Green Man Gaming, you'll be stepping into an incredibly intense conflict.
As expected from the Far Cry series, the enemy faction is led by an eccentric leader. Two of them, actually. Twin sisters Mickey and Lou are leading their brutal band of bandits across this devastated land and it's going to take some firepower to take them all down. Along the way, Far Cry 5 fans will learn about the fate of the lead protagonist and antagonist from that game.

The tier system adds another RPG element to the shooter, giving weapons and enemies three ranks. Expeditions are unique challenges for players that aren't tied directly into the main narrative. They will be available at the various outposts found in Far Cry: New Dawn.
