As the Red Bull Final Summoning continues to unfold, it looks like the next Dragon Ball FighterZ Season Pass has leaked.

As the world championship tournament for Dragon Ball FighterZ plays out live from Red Bull Final Summoning in Los Angeles, the next phase of the game looks to have been leaked. That next phase includes a whole new batch of characters.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 2 Pass will include two new fighters. One is Jiren, who fans may recognize from his key role in Dragon Ball Super's Universe Survival Saga. The other is Videl, daughter of Mr. Satan, wife of Son Gohan, and all-around ass-kicker who has appeared in both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super.

Jiren and Videl will kick off the Season 2 Pass on January 31. Four more characters will join them, with the next two revealed to be the Dragon Ball Super version of Broly and the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (you heard me) version of Gogeta, the fusion of Goku and Vegeta.

There will be more on this Season Pass set to be revealed during tonight's Red Bull Final Summoning Top 8. Shacknews will update this post with new information as it comes in.

Update: FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki appeared live following Sunday's Grand Finals and officially unveiled the Season 2 Pass.

In addition to the Season 2 pass, Hiroki revealed that the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour would return for a second season. The latter announcement should alleviate a lot of fears about the game's esports future, following a handful of tournaments being pulled in recent months.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
