In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last week, Capcom’s new Resident Evil 2 remake has been hogging all the headlines in the gaming press. An all-new reimagining of the original PlayStation classic has just arrived on consoles and PC.

The game is getting rave reviews and lots of attention online. The team at Capcom have taken the original fixed-camera design and updated it to mid-2000’s standards with a behind-the-back camera. At first glance, it looks like Resident Evil 4, but this remake is an incredibly slick love letter to the original game that plays well and looks even better. Running on the engine first created for Resident Evil 7, the game has all the latest graphical bells and whistles.

On today’s episode of the Happy Hour, the Shacknews Stream team continues with their playthrough of the new remake that started yesterday. If all goes well, we may see the first of multiple endings.
