Resident Evil 2 Collector's Edition unboxing and review
Unboxing and review of the Resident Evil 2 Collector's Edition by Greg Burke.
Resident Evil 2 is probably the first must-play game of 2019. Not only can older gamers like me enjoy a blast from the past, but those too young to have played RE2 almost exactly 21 years ago can get a taste of a truly special experience, but with all the fancy graphics expected in today’s gaming scene. However, if you’re a big fan of Resident Evil 2, the Collector’s Edition might be on your radar. Shacknews was lucky enough to receive the Resident Evil 2 Collector’s Edition for PS4, and below you can find both our unboxing and review of its contents.

As seen in the embedded video, the Collector’s Edition includes the game, a code for the soundtrack, an art book, a map of the first floor of the police station, and a 12-inch Leon S. Kennedy statue. The statue, in my opinion, is the shining star of the Collector’s Edition. Not only does the statue feature fantastic detail, it’s also larger than expected and built to last. If Resident Evil 2 is one of your all-time favorites, or you just like Collector’s Editions, you’ve got to see this thing.
When you’re done with the video, be sure to read the Shacknews Resident Evil 2 review to find out what we thought of the game itself. If you played the first one, you’re probably already a buyer, but if this is your first Resident Evil 2 experience, our review will help you decide whether to pull the trigger.
