It’s easy to miss a game like Insurgency: Sandstorm against the ocean of FPS titles on PC. At first glance, it shares a resemblance to Counterstrike, Squad, or any number of shooters that offer desert settings. You may have played earlier incarnations of the game and thought you’d seen it all. We’re here to let you know that if you passed over Sandstorm without giving it a try, you goofed.

On today’s episode of Happy Hour, the Shacknews stream team dips into our extensive collection of rifles, smoke grenades, and tactical baseball caps for a few rounds of Insurgency: Sandstorm. Sporting PvP and PvE modes, the game offers a little bit of something for everyone, including the most jaded of shooter veterans.
