Coming off The Game Awards, Steam is holding a big sale with discounts for many of the night's nominees. Elsewhere, Steam is also giving away Company of Heroes 2 for free!

The gaming world is still coming fresh off the 2018 edition of The Game Awards. There were more games announced than ever before, but how about the games that are out right now? The ones that you can play on your PC this very moment? Steam hears the call and has posted sales for most of the nominees this year. Many of them include deals on games released this past year, but you'll also find deals on ongoing games that were nominated for awards. These are some of the best deals of 2018, so be sure to check them out. But do it fast, but they expire on Saturday morning!

With all of the Game Awards buzz, it might be easy to overlook another massive Steam deal. Company of Heroes 2 is celebrating its fifth anniversary and in honor of its five years of service, Steam is giving away the base game absolutely FREE! You might be saying to yourself, "Self, doesn't this game have a lot of DLC and expansions?" You're absolutely right, crazy person who talks to themselves! Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak.
