Looking to grab some goodies for the holidays for the special geeks and gamers in your life? Today, ThinkGeek will be holding a special sitewide 50% off sale, so you can stock up on gifts from home instead of fighting the crowds.
The ThinkGeek sale runs today from 1 PM to 5PM ET, and you can participate by heading over to the site when it goes live (provided it will load for you) and use the promotional code that will have been uploaded to the site to get started. You will then apply the 50% off code at checkout. It's not clear just yet if this will void free shipping codes that normally apply when you spend over a certain spending limit, but rest assured ThinkGeek is going to make their money back some way.
As far as what's on offer, there's a wide variety of items to choose from. There are plenty of festive holiday items up right now, such as a light-up Super Mario wreath or a cats in ugly sweaters wreath to deck out your home in. If you feel like making an obnoxious tree, there's a Pickle Rick ornament on the main page as well as a cool Batcopter from the classic live-action Batman series.
If you're more into clothing and sweaters, you can pick up an "ugly sweater" that's based off your favorite pop culture moment, though they were purposefully created to be "ugly" so does that even make them ugly anymore? It's a question for the ages.
