Life is Strange 2 Episode 2 January release date announced
Life continues to be strange.
Life is Strange 2's second episode finally has a release date, and it's a lot closer than you may have guessed.
A new blog post on the official Life is Strange 2 Tumblr account addresses the question that's been on everyone's minds – when is the second episode finally going to come out? Right now, it looks like the answer is January 2019, but don't expect anything more specific in that.
"We understand that there are certain expectations that episodes will be released at a similar cadence as previous Life is Strange games have. The ambition of Life is Strange 2, however, means that the previous frameworks no longer apply if we are to meet the quality of play and storytelling that our vision for a game like this demands and that you deserve," read the blog.
The blog mentions "certain expectations" that the episodes will be released at a similar clip to the older games, but that the "ambition" of Life is Strange 2 means that they have to break out of that schedule if the team is to "meet the quality of play and storytelling that our vision for a game like this demands and that you deserve."
"With this in mind, we can now officially say that Episode 2 will be released in January 2019, but more will be unveiled in mid December, this year. We can’t wait to reveal more about ‘Episode 2: Rules’ to you soon! We’re truly very excited to show you what we’ve been working on and what’s in store for Sean and Daniel," continued the post.
Life is Strange 2 had an excellent first start with an emotional beginning for the Diaz brothers that put it leaps and bounds ahead of the somewhat halfhearted attempt at a prequel that was Life is Strange: Before the Storm. It showed some definitive improvement since the game's development went back to the previous developer, Dontnod. We can't wait to see what the next episode has in store for our favorite Life is Strange 2 family.

That is my worry. And I don't want to replay it while I am waiting because I don't want to screw up the choices I have made, I want to see what happens because of them.
I played all of LiS1 in one sitting (after coming back to it after months because the first episode was so boring) and I kind of wish I had waited til all of this one is done, but on the other hand I avoided spoilers :/
