Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it's time for Cyber Monday 2018 deals to shine. Loads of online retailers are preparing for the holiday shopping event, but it's likely safe to assume that Amazon will be most people's biggest Cyber Monday 2018 destination. As it so happens, Amazon has stretched the savings period out to an entire week, with Cyber Monday deals running from November 24 all the way through December 1. With the understanding that Cyber Monday sales are generally focused around online retailers, it's no surprise to learn that Amazon is hosting a massive number of discounts and bargains. In fact, the deals on offer are so tremendous that we've had to come up with guidelines to dictate which of those sales are worth listing here.

Generally speaking, the items listed below are being offered at figure representing at least a 20% discount over the item's listed base price. The only exceptions are sale items which are especially difficult to find or prone to selling out.

There are relatively few video game console sales during Amazon's Cyber Monday 2018 deals week. In fact, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X seem to be about the only video game console sales in sight — sales on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo 3DS/2DS are nowhere to be found. However, there are a couple of platform-specific accessory deals, notably including vertical stands for both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

In addition to the admittedly sparse offerings on video game consoles, Amazon is also offering Cyber Monday discounts on new VR sytems. These include the big hitters from Oculus and HTC, sold in both standard HMD packages as well as complete VR systems that typically bundle together controllers along with the base headset.

There are also a few deals on PC accessories like Razer's Orbweaver Chroma gaming keypad or Elgato game capture devices.

It wouldn't really be an Amazon sale without discoutns on Amazon-branded devices, would it? The online retailer's Cyber Monday 2018 deals week offers a great chance for television and film fans to scoop up a shiny new streaming device or a smart speaker without having to pay the full list price. Even better, they can pick up one of two Fire TV-powered Toshiba 4K televisions at almost absurdly low prices.
