Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition Holiday costumes are coming next week
Four characters are getting into the holiday spirit with some special Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition costumes.
Are you ready for some festive fisticuffs? Capcom is gearing up for some holiday cheer with Christmas-themed costumes for Blanka, Cody, Falke, and Sakura. The new gear, which includes Cody dressed up in full Santa garb, goes live November 27, 2018.
Cody on the streets is frightful, but Sakura is delightful.

Since Falke has learned to let go, Blanka glows, Blanka glows, Blanka glows!

Three of those names are instantly recognizable for Street Fighter fans, but one is a new addition to the series. Falke first appeared in one of the character stories for the base game and then entered the fray during the third season of new character releases. She's a member of Neo Shadaloo and uses the bojutsu fighting style bolstered by Psycho Power.
There's a whole host of new additions in the Arcade Edition of Street Fighter 5. The base game didn't include an Arcade Mode, but it comes with this new update. The Extra Battle Mode, selectable V-Triggers, updated UI, Gallery, Team Battle Mode, and bonus stage are all also added to the game.
In addition to the original roster characters, four entirely new to the series, this full Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition includes the twelve DLC characters: Akuma, Zeku, Kolin, Ed, Abigail, Menat, Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri, and Urien. After the launch of the Arcade edition, the third season of Street Fighter 5 welcomed another mixture of recognizable and fresh faces with Sakura, Blanka, Falke, Cody, G, and Sagat. The Street Fighter 5 - Season 3 Character Pass costs $29.99.
Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition launched January 2018 and is available on PC and PS4 for $39.99. The most recent major addition to the game is the Dojo Mode, which features a fully customizable stage for players to mess around with. If you already own the original game, it will update to the Arcade Edition for free (modes, not characters). Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
