THQ Nordic acquires Wreckfest developer Bugbear Entertainment
THQ Nordic continues its buying spree of developers with today's acquisition of Bugbear Entertainment.
THQ Nordic has been on quite the buyng spree this year and today they have announced the acquisition of Wreckfest developer Bugbear Entertainment. You may remember our live stream of Wreckfest from a few months back. Bugbear Entertainment joins Vigil Games, Deep Silver, and many other studios to be assimilated into the THQ Nordic mothership.
Just a few months ago, THQ Nordic added Alone in the Dark and Act of War to their growing warchest of intellectual property. This comes on the back of acquiring Kingdom Come: Deliverance publisher Deep Silver. THQ Nordic has been acquiring companies and intellectual property for several years as they grow their portfolio of games and their efforts are showing up in their financial results. The company just reported staggering 1403% year-over-year sales growth in their most recent quarterly earnings release.
It appears the surge of acquisitions is working for THQ Nordic and we look forward to seeing their next move. Keep it locked on Shacknews for more updates.
