In the game In Between, players take on the role of a man hit by a cruel twist of fate and forced to face his own mortality. To celebrate the game's launch hand highlight the tough topics the game shines a spotlight on, developer Headup Games is teaming up with the Cancer Research Institute for charity.

For 92 days, from November 1, 2018, to January 31, 2019, 50% of revenues from the purchase of In Between on Steam, iOS, and Google Play will go to the Cancer Research Institute. Here's a bit about the organization, taken from Headup Games' blog post:

The Cancer Research Institute is the leading nonprofit dedicated exclusively to transforming patient care by advancing the science of immunotherapy. Since 1953, we have supported efforts to develop new and effective immune-based strategies to prevent, treat, and potentially cure all cancers. Guided by a world-renowned Scientific Advisory Council that includes 3 Nobel laureates and 26 members of the National Academy of Sciences, our contributions to key scientific advances have made today’s immunotherapies possible.

With programs like Extra Life and events like Blizzard's Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch to benefit breast cancer research, gaming continues to be an incredible force for good. Count Headup Games and In Between as meaningful additions to that reality.
