Leaked Apple Watch Series 4 details show larger screen and new watch face

A recent leak has revealed new details about the Apple Watch 4, including a larger screen, thinner bezels, and an updated watch face with several new complications.

New details about Apple's upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 have leaked ahead of the company's planned event scheduled for September 12 at the Steve Jobs Theatre. In particular, we now know the new Apple Watch Series 4 features a bigger screen thanks to thinner bezels, an updated watch front, and the option to display several new complications (essentially watch widgets) when compared to previous models.

The leaked details come from 9to5Mac, whose report states that new model has a screen that is roughly 15% bigger than the Apple Watch Series 3. It also has slimmer bezels, the likes of which should help the wearable get more in line with the physical styling of the edge-to-edge display featured on the iPhone X.

As can be told from the leaked image, the updated display now features several new complications, the likes of which can provide at-a-glance details regarding everything from temperature and UV index to timers, reminders, calendar events, and more. And, like the Apple Watch models before it, the Series 4 also functions as an actual timepiece.

Users will also note a small new hole on the side of the case, which will likely serve to house an additional microphone, something that should help with voice clarity and Siri commands. The center dot has also been updated to a smaller circle, though it may be that it only appears on the cellular-enhanced models.

These are all of the details regarding new display, watch faces, and additional complications we have for now, but it's very likely that we'll hear more about the new Apple Watch Series 4 during the company's upcoming iPhone presentation on September 12.
