Apple invites press to 'Gather round' for 2018 iPhone event on September 12 at Steve Jobs Theater

The Apple hype machine is kicking it into high gear next month.

It's that time of the year again. Children are heading back to school, Fantasy Football leagues are drafting their teams, and Apple is preparing another special event at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The company sent out invites today to members of the press. "Gather round," reads the invite to the special event.

I guess Shacknews' invite got lost in the mail again.

There have been reports that this event will include unveilings of several new iPhone models, a new Apple Watch, and maybe even some new Macs. Some analysts expect Apple to show off a new version of the Apple TV, as the company to continues ramping up exclusive content deals for Apple Music.

Shackers will have to tune in at 10:00 AM PT on September 12 to find out what Apple has to offer customers for the 2018 Holiday season. In the meantime, the company's stock (AAPL) keeps chugging along above its $1 trillion valuation.
