Greetings everyone! I'm News Editor Charles Singletary Jr and I was decimated during my mini-boss battle during The Great Quakeholio Tournament 2018 which was put together by Shacknews during QuakeCon 2018. Throughout the tournament, we gave participants chosen at random a shot at winning a gaming PC. All they had to do was take on one of the Shack staff in 1v1 battle in a random game and, if victorious, they'd be leaving QuakeCon 2018 with a new PC. Win or lose, their participation in The Great Quakeholio Tournament continued.

In the video below, witness a grueling battle between myself and The Great Quakeholio Tournament competitor Lord_Reven in three rounds of Doom 2. The maps were chosen at random so each player entered the battlefield on even footing... though it did not look like it in the end.

Not every mini-boss battle is created equally, so you should make it a point to attend all of the Shacknews Electronic Sports events.
