Happy Hour: A closer look at the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer

We dive headfirst into CD Projekt Red's new trailer and discuss the day's biggest gaming news.

Cyberpunk 2077 began turning heads years ago when the project was first announced by publisher game developer CD Projekt Red. Hype for the game began build prior to the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which ended up becoming a massive hit and one of the most highly-regarded RPGs ever released. Naturally, The Witcher’s level of success worked to increase hype for Cyberpunk 2077. After nearly five years of media blackout on the game, Cyberpunk 2077 made its world premier at the end of Microsoft’s E3 press event, with a live demo shown to press behind closed doors.

This morning, CD Projekt Red released a gameplay trailer that closely mimics what was shown behind closed doors at E3. The 48-minute demo is a lot to take in, so grab a drink and tune into the Official Shacknews Twitch Channel at 7:30 PM ET (4:30 PT) as we take a close look at the details of this new trailer.
