For Honor's new Marching Fire Arcade mode brings random combat scenarios this October
Talk about more replayability.
For Honor's biggest update since it debuted, Marching Fire, is adding a new Arcade mode this October. The new selection of content will find players competing in various randomly-generated combat scenarios so you can test your might against a bunch of different enemies. You'll complete new challenges, unlock new gear, and raise your Heroes' Reputation level at the same time. Any progress you make in Arcade mode will also transfer over to multiplayer, so you can have a blast testing out heroes to see which one fits you best.
Arcade mode asks you to first choose a difficulty level for your gear score between Common and Legendary, and then thrusts you into questing so you can start completing chapters to earn more goodies. You can play in either solo or co-op modes depending on your preference. If you don't own Marching Fire, other players can invite you into their game, which is a useful feature indeed.
The new mode will include special combat modifiers, as well as new heroes that are included with the expansion. If you pre-order the new expansion, you'll get the special Wu Lin pack, which comes with a new Elite Outfit for all four of the new Wu Lin Heroes as well. It'll be available to pre-order starting September 4.
The expansion will release on October 16 if you can't wait to get your hands on the new mode. Check out our interview from E3 2018 above.
