Gamescom 2018: Hunt: Showdown coming to Xbox One via Game Preview

Crytek's PvE/PvP survival FPS is coming to console players on Xbox One.

During the Inside Xbox special at Gamescom 2018, Crytek announced that Hunt: Showdown is coming to Xbox One. Hunt went through a couple name changes before landing on its current form, a PvP/PvE hybrid experience that throws players into a horrific setting with classic and unique creatures.

The rhythm for Hunt: Showdown involves entering the map, searching out clues to narrow down the bounty monster's location, kill the bounty, banish it, and escape the map. This is a tough process not only because you'll be running into other monsters along the way, but you'll be taking on other players as well. Not only is ammo scarce, every shot realistically sounds across the map. Players have to be exceptionally careful when choosing when and how to engage.
