As we touched on in our report on the Forbes leak, Diablo 3 can be played by up to four players on one Nintendo Switch via shared screen or a combination of TV and handheld play or wirelessly with individual devices. The trailer also shows off officially gameplay for the Switch version of Diablo 3 and it looks pretty solid thus far.
The Eternal Collection will feature the base Diablo 3 game, Reaper of Souls expansion, and Rise of the Necromancer. This means seven classes, five acts, and seasons worth of content for players to engage with. Exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, there are pieces of the Zelda franchise to be found in the game: A Cucco companion pet, Triforce portrait frame, unique cosmetic wings, and a transmogrification set that lets players use Ganondorf's armor.

Wouldn’t it be Blizzard setting the pricing?
Nintendo just took Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, a game newer than Diablo III, added more stuff to it, and released it for $40 (and people still bitched it was too expensive).
Blizzard is also much more price elastic than Nintendo is. Nintendo games tend to only get cheaper if they’re re-released as part of a “greatest hits” line.

Portability = millions in sales. Dirty play or not, Blizzard would be foolish to price it any lower. They even opened up adventure mode from the start knowing that most people will be double dipping.
There's clearly value in portability given how the Switch has been flying off shelves (it'll outsell four years of XB1 sales in under two years) and how much better games on it sell than their counterparts on other consoles or PC.

The story is AWFUL in my opinion. It over explains everything, the boss demons all send you letters and call you ARROGANT NEPHALEM, they send memos to their subordinates that are like shit your shitty middle manager at work would send. MINIONS, THE SHARED REFRIGERATOR SMELLS... UNPLEASANT. PLEASE REMOVE YOUR BELONGINGS BEFORE YOU ARE MADE TO SUFFER... AN EXTRA WEEK OF KITCHEN CLEANUP DUTY.
the idea that the player characters are all magical people who are magically capable of defeating angels and demons detracts from the game's ability to make the player feel like a badass (I didn't grow and become awesome, I was just born into this magical bloodline of awesomeness).
That being said in adventure mode, you're bouncing around various parts of the story without context. I prefer that, but I'm not sure what I would have thought of the game if that was all I ever played. You might prefer to run through it if you can tolerate some dumb shit and want to contextualize the content.

I like to imagine that this will lead to a Blizz character(s) in Smash Bros. Ultimate. What character would you want in Smash and/or what character do you think would most likely be chosen for Smash were that to happen?
I would want an Overwatch character, I think. Maybe Doomfist or Roadhog with Genji as an echo fighter for Greninja.
I think Tyrael would be a possible choice. He wouldn't be particularly out of place with chars like the Belmonts and Bayonetta already in the game, and his abilities would be a natural fit. I don't see a character based on a Diablo class.
