Gameplay Debut For Lovecraftian Action-Horror The Sinking City

Lovecraftian horror is getting a lot of love these days with games like Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics and Cyanide Studio's Call of Cthulu on the horizon. Bigben and Frogwares Games will be contributing to our nightmares with their own Lovecraft-inspired experience, The Sinking City, and we've got the debut gameplay trailer for you right here.

In The Sinking City, players take on the role of private investigator Charles W. Reed in 1920s New England. He seeks salvation from a creeping insanity, a staple of Lovecraft-inspired works, while unraveling the source of a supernatural flood in a once-prominent trade harbor.

The Sinking City is due for PC, PS4, and Xbox One release on March 21, 2019. There's a lot more to learn about this ethereal action game and a lot of time between now and the release date, so stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
