No Man's Sky Concurrent Players Near 100,000 Last Weekend Thanks to Next Update
The game is attracting more players now that there's more content out there.
No Man's Sky has enjoyed a massive amount of success since the new Next update made the rounds. The spacey intergalactic sandbox ended up pulling in an impressive amount of players over the weekend, which is a testament to how cool the new additions to the title really are. Hello Games has made one heck of a comeback, as the game amassed around 97,000 concurrent players this past Sunday.
This is just about the total of 2016's launch date when the game first made its Steam debut and hit 212,000 concurrent users, but it certainly isn't anything to sneeze at for a game that's been out for two years already. The new Next features, including co-op multiplayer and other kinds of much-needed updates for the game, have helped it ramp back up into the public eye once more, and it's even seen a shift in improvement from "Mostly Negative" Steam reviews to "Mixed" instead.
Thinking about giving No Man's Sky a try now that Next is out? It's well worth giving a look, especially if you felt disillusioned by what it had to offer when it initially debuted. It's been given a pretty slick set of features that are expansive in scope, and you can discover and name your own planets and other fun things like that. So why wouldn't you want to give it a spin? There's no shoddily-constructed special edition to contend with this time around, so if nothing else it's worth a try.

Aah didn't give any indication that it couldn't be done, just nothing happens (don't get the so outline either). But my ships didn't automatically transfer there either, even after warping elsewhere. I'm not stressed about it but I don't see how your supposed to bring your starships into the hangar except to do it via the space station using the portal. But I suppose at some point I'll get blueprints for the teleporter then I can build one on the freighter then teleport to the starship and fly each one back to the freighter.

For a game that is about exploring and finding new worlds I sure seem to spend a lot of time extracting dust and carbon and some other shit to get enough fuel to go explore new worlds. I wish more of this crap was automated or the crafting a bit more helpful. If I have all the raw ingredients to make a Warp Core, why do I have to inventory juggle crap to build all the base components first, THEN assemble the Warp Core. All the small things become tedious to me after a while and I quit being enthralled with seeing and exploring new stuff and I'm instead focused on finding those dumb things I need to get more fuel or oxygen and get the fuck off planet.
I think I'm doing it wrong...
