Fortnite Battle Royale Solo Showdown LTM Returns
There's a way to track your progress this time around.
Epic Games is adding some fuel to the competitive Fortnite Battle Royale fires once again with the return of the Solo Showdown limited time mode. Just like the original mode, players must participate in a minimum amount of matches to enter the contest, which runs from July 27, 2018, 10:00 AM EST to July 30, 2018, 10:00 AM EST.
Player eligibility rules can be found on the official website and the standings will be updated regularly on the event page. Your first 25 matches will count toward your score and here are the awards for placing:
- 1st Place: 50,000 V-Bucks
- 2nd - 4th Place: 25,000 V-Bucks
- 5th - 50th Place: 13,500 V-Bucks
- 51st - 100th Place: 7,500 V-Bucks
In other news, Epic Games is now valued between $5 to $8 billion and Fortnite is a massive part of that success. Also, the new submachine gun was nerfed in the most recent hotfix. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
