Base Goku and Vegeta Make Their Way to Dragon Ball FighterZ for Old Time's Sake
Taking it all the way back.
Goku and Vegeta are making their way to Bandai Namco and Arc System Works' Dragon Ball FighterZ. Yes, they're already in the game. No, this isn't old news. This time around we're talking about their "base" forms, or basically when they have plain Jane, regular black hair. They aren't Super Saiyans, Super Saiyan Gods, or what-have-you. They're just the classic characters that we know and love.
Goku will feature his signature Kaioken move, which can help him pull off a flurry of attacks. If an ally falls in battle. it can be increased to power up by three or 20, and Goku can even pull off the powerful Spirit Bomb in a pinch. It looks awesome, too, just like you'd expect.
Similarly, Base Vegeta can use the Galick Gun to launch some devastating energy attacks, along with his Galaxy Breaker, which is just as powerful as Goku's Spirit Bomb, but decidedly less pure of heart, obviously.
Unfortunately, there's no release date just yet for the characters, but Dragon Ball FighterZ will be coming to Nintendo Switch on September 28, with a beta scheduled for this August.
Looking forward to playing with your favorite "regular" Dragon Ball Z characters? You probably don't have much longer to wait. You know I'm about to main Vegeta, my darling, who's been bae ever since middle school.

Well there are still a few Goku's they could pull out. Is Turles in there? I don't think so (and while he looks like Goku he might not be considered a Goku considering they're just the same species). Also you've got Kid Goku (both DB and GT versions) and SSJ4 Goku if you want to grab non-cannon stuff and you could throw Gogeta in there too even though we already have Vegito.
