Founder's Pack Finally Brings Free Skins to Fortnite v5.10

Epic Games has followed up on past promises, providing two free Fortnite skins to all players who previously purchased the founder's pack.

Originally released back in July of 2017, the Fortnite founder's pack was one of the most straightforward ways for players to jump into Fortnite's Save the World gameplay mode. Epic Games would later release Fortnite Battle Royale for free, saying that players who purchased a founder's pack would earn some free skins for their dedication. It's been a long time coming, but it appears that Epic Games is finally ready to follow up on its promise to bring those free skins to players, as the studio has announced the imminent arrival of two Fortnite founder's pack skins.

How to Get Founder's Pack Free Skins in Fortnite

It's been just about a year, but the skins that Epic Games teased founder's pack buyers with are finally arriving. Players will note that the two skins, Warpaint and the Rose Team Leader skins, are the same one that were teased to fans in 2017. Check them out in Fortnite's announcement tweet below.

These two skins are planned to arrive with the version 5.10 update to the game. As far as we can tell, both skins look identical to the designs teased previously, which is to say they're not quite as extravagant as some of the more recent skins to hit the Fortnite Item Shop. Still, players who purchased the founder's pack previously will now get them for free; all players who must have the skins will need to buy the Save the World Founder's Pack, which is currently selling for $19.99.

As usual, the excitement surrounding Fortnite extends beyond the game's free founder's pack skins: starting tomorrow, Tuesday July 24, Fortnite will begin its one-year birthday celebrations with a number of special birthday-themed challenges and quests offering bonus experience as well as a special spray, emoticon, and back bling.
