Not All Fallout 76 Pre-orders Will Get Invited To Beta At First
Some players that have preordered for Xbox One will get first dibs, with more to follow later.
Bethesda is taking its dystopian survival experience into new territory with Fallout 76 and will be hosting a beta test so the devs can iron out as many kinks as possible before letting players team up with or take down each other with nuclear armaments. For all that have been curious when the beta will go live, the devs have revealed that the first one will go live on Xbox One this October, with PS4 and PC following it up.
We’re blown away by the response to the B.E.T.A. Still sorting out the details but we’ll start letting you break-it in October. First on XB1, then PS4 and PC. #PleaseStandBy https://t.co/3XIR7grard pic.twitter.com/YQISJvis0P

Via a post in the Bethesda.net forums, it's revealed that the first beta participants will be selected from those that have pre-ordered Fallout 76. The number of players invited will grow over time and the team will discuss the game a bit more during Quakecon 2018. Shacknews will be in attendance, of course, so be sure to check the site for updates.
