Madden NFL 19 is set to kick off next month and Shacknews attending a special EA Showcase last week to check out the latest from the series. Players are obsessed with ratings, and today we have a preview look at the overall team ratings for the upcoming season. These ratings are preliminary and change throughout the year, but they give players a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming season for their favorite team. It is no surprise that the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles are the highest ranked clocking in at a 95 overall rating. This year's Madden also features the most 99 rated players in ten years. That's sort of what people are really into with FIFA Ultimate Team thing and I think they carried that stuff over to Madden. You basically build a fantasy team and take that into the online competition vs others.
It's obviously not the same as playing the real world facsimile teams, and they monetize the hell out of it, but they allow you make your own balance with that stuff.
