Try WarioWare Gold's Zany Microgames with Free 3DS Demo, Out Now
'Wah' wouldn't you want to try out the game ahead of its debut?
WarioWare Gold's release date is quickly barreling toward us, much like Wario himself, but there's still too much time between now and when we can enjoy the 300 new microgames. So it's great news that Nintendo has released the same demo that was previously available for Nintendo 3DS for western players on the Nintendo 3DS. It's available right now, so you can grab it and give the game a spin ahead of its official debut!
The game features a ton of microgames culled from the old games and plenty of new ones thrown in for good measure. From running a race to building a robot, there's a game for everyone, and yes, that booger-picking game is here too. The games, at least in the demo, are separated into sections, so you can choose if you'd rather play "mashing" games that require to mash buttons, use gyro controls, and more.
One of the coolest parts of WarioWare Gold is the fact that Wario himself is being fully voiced this time around. It's a little weird at first, as you can see in the trailer below, but still very, very cool. You've never heard him talk this much before, and Charles Martinet is really on top of his game.
WarioWare Gold releases on Nintendo 3DS on August 3.
