Dig In to Valkyria Chronicles 4 With Its Opening Cinematic

Get an early taste of the game before it hits store shelves.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the latest entry in the long-running strategy RPG series from Sega, and it's headed to the west this fall. We've only got about two more months to wait until we can get our hands on it, so Sega has seen fit to grace us with the game's opening cinematic to tide us over.

This entry in the series takes place at the same time as the original Valkyria Chronicles game, but it will feature a brand new cast of characters. A refined and reworked BLiTZ turn-based third-person shooter battle system is returning to the game this time around as well.

You can pick up two different special editions of the game if it's something that looks like it's up your alley, including the first-run physical editions, which come packaged as Valkyria Chronicles 4 Launch Editions and with cutesy little controller skins featuring the medic dog Ragnarok. Otherwise, the Memoirs from Battle Premium Edition comes with an exclusive art book, a replica of character Claude's tank, the Hafen, and a copy of the game with new DLC missions.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is headed to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 25.
