Owlchemy Labs Gets Schwifty with Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality Emmy Nomination
Oooh, take your pants off! Get schwifty in here!
Owlchemy Labs’ hilarious Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is nearly as fun as kicking back and watching the TV show. That’s probably part of the reason it’s just been nominated for an Emmy, if we had to guess. It's been nominated for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media Within A Scripted Program, among titles like 13 Reasons Why, Mr. Robot, Silicon Valley, and Westworld with their varying interactive creations. Given the competition, it's safe to say Rick and Morty has a fair chance of winning since it's the most fun and inventive out of all of these selections.

The virtual reality game lets you jump into the world of Rick and Morty with virtual reality peripherals and help Rick with some "menial" tasks as a clone of Morty. It's filled with the same signature humor from the show, and released to positive reviews, exemplifying how far you can go with a licensed brand when it comes to virtual reality and an established universe.
Good lucky to Owlchemy Labs, as winning an Emmy is a big deal, and it would be great news to hear that the company ends up winning!
