Monster Hunter: World PC Requirements Announced
Thankfully, you won’t need a rig as powerful as the Nergigante to enjoy Capcom’s most popular game on PC.
Monster Hunter: World was an instant smash for Capcom when it released back in January for the PS4. It quickly went on to become the fastest selling game in the publisher’s history. When the game was originally announced, Capcom revealed that it would also arrived on PC, but at an unspecified time after the console launch. Ahead of an event this coming Monday where the release date for the PC version is expected, the official system requirements have leaked online.
Monster Hunter: World PC Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.2GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
HDD: 25GB free space
OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or Windows 10
Recommended Requirements
Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
HDD: 25GB free space
OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or Windows 10
While information on what players could expect as far as settings and framerate were not disclosed, users meeting the recommended requirements can reasonably expect to have performance equal or better than what was seen on the PS4. That version of the game was notorious for framerate drops, so it is possible that the PC version will offer players the first chance to experience the game at stable framerates.
