Aching to try out the world of Destiny 2 this weekend? You can become a Guardian for free starting tomorrow, July 7, if you're playing on PC, by way of Battle.net. Jump online via Blizzard's service and have access to the game for free to play to your heart's content all the way through Sunday, June 10. Are you still off to celebrate Independence Day and Fourth of July weekend? We just planned out your weekend for you. You're welcome.

The game is also on sale for 67% off, or you can opt for Destiny 2 and its Expansion Pass bundled together for 35% off. Any progress you make during the free play weekend can be carried over into the full game as well, so you won't have wasted your precious time if you decide you want to become a full-fledged Guardian.

The free play weekend should give you a decent boost ahead of Destiny 2: Forsaken, the massive content expansion coming to the game this September 4. There's a whole lot you can complete between now and then, so it's best that you get a head start, if you're interested in trying out Forsaken. There's going to be a ton of stuff you can do, and you definitely won't want to miss out.
