Nintendo & Disney Team Up For Switch Family Showdown Competition
You have until July 1 to apply with a one-minute video telling why your family are the biggest Nintendo fans.
Two of the biggest family-friendly media giants are teaming up for a competition to see who has the ultimate gaming family. In the Nintendo Switch Family Showdown, families will face each other on a Nintendo-themed set over a series of challenges in Nintendo Switch games.
Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Tennis Acess, and Just Dance 2018 are three of the confirmed games that will be played during the Nintendo Switch Family Showdown. Additional contests will be revealed during the show, which will stream on the DisneyNOW app and be featured on the Disney Channel and Disney XD. Here are the things that are up for grabs when entering to join the challenge:
- 3 day/2 night trip to LA
- Compete in a Nintendo Switch competition
- Meet favorite Disney Stars
There's no purchase needed to enter the contest. Further details can be found on the official Nintendo Switch Family Showdown website but the main requirement is the submission of an original video, up to one minute in length, explaining why they are the ultimate Nintendo fans. Contest entries are open from now until July 1, 2018, at 11:59 PT.
