E3 2018: Avengers Confirmed in Marvel's Spider-Man

The Shacknews staff discovers an important landmark in the new Spidey game for PS4.

Marvel's Spider-Man, the excellent new PlayStation 4 exclusive featuring everyone's favorite web-slinger, was on the scene during E3 2018 for fans to get their hands on, so that's exactly what the Shacknews team did. Little did they know that, however, they'd end up with some intriguing new footage that seems to confirm one thing: the Avengers do exist in the game's universe!

With that in mind, you can check out the clip to see our Shacknews team scrambling to the top of none other than Stark Tower, which means the Avengers could potentially be in the game -- or at the very least, we're seeing Stark Tower as window dressing, and the Avengers are acknowledged as part of the universe.

We won't know anything for sure until we've gotten a much longer look at the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, but that's going to be a while, likely when it launches on September 7, 2018. We'll bring you all the news regarding this ambitious new title as soon as they roll out.
