E3 2018: Mavericks: Proving Grounds Promises 1000 Player Battle Royale

The CryEngine-powered shooter makes its debut during the PC Gaming Show.

In 2018, every game seems to be a battle royale experience or an established franchise that is adding a comparable mode. Mavericks: Proving Grounds hopes to stand out from the crowd by offering a large map and seemingly insane player counts. The developers promise that up to 1000 players can compete in its take on the battle royale genre. The PC Gaming Show at E3 2018 premiered the exclusive gameplay trailer for Mavericks: Proving Grounds.

You can get a chance to play Mavericks: Proving Ground early by signing up for the closed alpha at the game’s official website. Because the game is still in early development, there is no word on an expected release date.
