How To Join and Download The Crew 2 Open Beta

Ubisoft’s open-world racing game The Crew is getting an open beta ahead of its June 29 launch. Find out how to get in and pre-load the beta to be ready when it goes live.

During its E3 presentation today, Ubisoft announced an open beta session for its open-world racing sequel The Crew 2 ahead of its impending release on June 29. The open beta will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via uPlay).

When Is The Crew 2 Open Beta?

The open beta period for The Crew 2 will be held from June 21 through June 24. The testing period will officially open at 1 AM PT on June 21 and end on June 25 at 1 AM PT.

How To Join and Download The Crew 2 Open Beta

Players interested in trying out Ubisoft’s newest online racing game can gain access to the upcoming beta testing period by visiting the official open beta sign-up website. You can find the sign-up page here. This page will offer links to pre-loads of the beta on the Xbox One (via the Xbox Store), PS4 (via the PSN Store), and PC (via uPlay).

Shacknews editor Blake Morse got the opportunity to go hands-on with The Crew 2 during a preview event a couple of months back and wrote up his impressions of the experience. The Crew 2 will be releasing for consoles and PC on June 29. The Collector’s Edition of the game will let players gain early access to the game on June 26 and includes the Season Pass and various digital goodies.
