Today, Treyarch hosted a livestream where they broke down some of the new and returning features for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer. The pace in Blacks Op 4 is more in line with the first Black Ops, one of the devs says, pointing out that the mobility options are stripped down which aligns with a more tactical approach. With that said, three of the maps playable next week during E3 2018 are ones from the first Black Ops and the fourth is from Black Ops 2.

The maps have all been rebuilt from the ground up and have had some gameplay tuning done to transition well into Black Ops 4. Jungle, Summit, and Firing Range from Black Ops along with Slums from Black Ops 2. We'll write up our takes on the maps during E3, but you can read our preview from the Black Ops 4 reveal event now.

It was also revealed that Nuke Town is officially returning in Black Ops 4. The developers are "going back to the cold war roots" in this version of Nuke Town. While the previously mentioned maps will be available at launch, the new Nuke Town will come post-launch but will be available to all owners of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
