Destiny 2 Year 2 Introduces Gambit Mode, Combining PvE and PvP Combat
This new mode seems to embody everything that makes Destiny 2 fun.
Today, Bungie hosted a livestream where the team introduced the world to Destiny 2: Forsaken. The Destiny series has blended PvE and PvP experiences since inception, but never have they outright clashed. In Destiny 2's second year, that changes with the new Gambit game mode.
Gambit adds an all-new PvP experience to Destiny 2 in its second year. In it, two teams take on enemy creatures in their own space with various objectives. One player from each side can invade the enemy team's space, ruining their progress and
Destiny 2's Gambit mode will be playable at the Activision booth on the E3 2018 show floor next week. There are a handful of other significant updates as well:
- New collection features for Destiny 2: Forsaken
- Bow and arrow weapon added in Destiny 2 year 2
- Bungie introduces Destiny 2: Forsaken annual pass
