Sink Your Teeth into Vampyr's Bloodthirsty Launch Trailer Ahead of its June Release
Will you walk the path of good or evil?
Dontnod's latest game Vampyr is nearly here, and in celebration of the game's impending debut, we have a new launch trailer to pore over ahead of its proper arrival. This particular trailer highlights the real struggle of a man who finds himself torn between two very different worlds as he deals with the inner conflict of wanting to help others as a doctor...and wanting to drink their blood, too.
Follow Dr. Jonathan Reid as he deals with this cursed existence in London while working to uncover the secrets behind a disease that's befallen the citizens around him. All the citizens in the game's four districts need help, and Jonathan must figure out who to save and who to sacrifice in order to make things right. Life is Strange developer Dontnod cautions that your actions can be costly, so make sure you know what you're doing and what you're throwing away when you start playing. There are likely plenty of different outcomes depending on what you decide to do in terms of sacrificing and saving.
Thirsty for blood? Vampyr is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 5. You'll be able to check out our review soon as well, so get ready for that!

Like I said I'm just going by the few clips and streams I've seen, and maybe the total package feels good (I mean it's not like Bloodlines is known for its combat to be fair), but I reaaaaaaaaaaally thought it looked like mod-level polish and was just not thrilled about it. I'm totally hoping to be wrong and it'll be great if it's good. I want it to be good.

It looks better than LiS to me. There are a shit-ton of ways to play, ways to build your character and weapons, factions to join or betray, even whole zones you can heal or let rot until they’re completely condemned and locked off. Devs have said you can finish the game no matter what sort of complete decimation you leave in your wake, or don’t drink any blood and do everything the hard way.
Plus the historical grounding is not just for show on the surface. They’re taking that way more seriously than I expected.
