Poke Ball Plus Nintendo Switch Peripheral Announced During Pokemon Press Conference
Capturing Pokemon has never felt more real.
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! were just officially announced during a special conference held in Tokyo, Japan, along with some other exciting developments. The two games are coming to Nintendo Switch along with an exciting new peripheral that fans will want to eat right up.
You can use the #PokeBallPlus as a Joy-Con in #PokemonLetsGo! Good things may happen if you place one of your favorite Pokémon into the device and walk around with it in the real world. It will be able to connect to Pokémon GO as well! pic.twitter.com/I18Y55odpp

Much like the Pokemon Go Plus peripheral that released for the mobile game, this accessory is meant to help you better link the real world and the game world, and it has several important functions. We're not all the way sure exactly what you'll be able to do with the accessory just yet, but it looks like it's opening up a whole new world of fun since you can use it in place of the actual Joy-Con and with friends. If anything, it looks much more comfortable. You can even use it to take your Pokémon for a walk with you or use it to bring Pokémon Go monsters over to your game!
The new peripheral is releasing alongside both games when they drop later this year on November 16, so you'll be able to head out into the world with your favorite companion by your side just in time for fall. Who knows? Next year, we may be doing the same thing with the new "core" RPG coming to the Pokemon franchise then.
