Far Cry 5 Hours of Darkness DLC Goes Live In Early June
The rest of the post-launch DLC are all given release windows and additional details.
Far Cry 5 is the fastest selling entry in the franchise's history, but the ride is only just beginning. The season pass and upcoming content were shared before Far Cry 5's launch, but now we're getting a better idea of how the DLC will be rolling out. Far Cry 3 classic edition drops on May 29 and will be followed up pretty quickly with Hours of Darkness's trip to Vietnam on June 5.
The official Far Cry Twitter account shared the more detailed roadmap for post-launch content. Lost On Mars will land in July alongside an asset drop for the Arcade mode and the zombie-centered DLC will arrive in August. In September, another asset drop for Arcade will happen. Live events and Friday Arcade Nights will occur regularly throughout Far Cry 5's post-launch life as well.
As described when it was revealed back in February, players will travel back in Vietnam to battle against Viet Cong soldiers in Hours of Darkness this month. The Dead Living Zombies DLC will take players on a journey through b-movie scenarios and Lost on Mars introduces Martian arachnids to Far Cry 5.
