Now featuring added improvements!
The development team at Sony Santa Monica sure hasn't been shy about releasing new updates for God of War. Since its release last month, the game has several different patches, each of which addressing something a little different. Now the God of War update version 1.22 has arrived, with patch notes detailing the kind of unnamed fixes that players have likely come to expect based on the other patches released so far.
God of War owners booting up their PlayStation 4 systems should have already received a notification for the update, the likes of which provides both various bug fixes and improvements as well as "stability and performance enhancements" that should make for a smoother overall gameplay experience.
In case anyone has forgotten — an obvious possibility considering the number of different patches that have released so far — the display aspect ratio bug was patched in update version 1.11, while players were given a new option to change the in-game text size with update version 1.12. Starting from update version 1.13 and beyond, nearly all of the latest patches have been minor in scale, offering subtle improvements to aspects of the game that haven't been immediately detailed. It wasn't until update version 1.20 that players saw obvious changes with the addition of the much-loved Photo Mode.
