New Rainbow Six Siege Trailer Showcases Operation Para Bellum Update
Plus, pick and 'ban' certain Operators from play with the new update.
Rainbow Six Siege is hurtling toward the second season of its slate of Year 3 content, and as such Ubisoft is teasing some additional features coming to the game. There's a full reveal in the works for next week, but there's a tasty new video out right now ahead of time surrounding the Operation Para Bellum update. The hefty new content drop will feature a new Pick & Ban system, new Operators, and a whole lot more when it releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The new Operators will be Defenders, whereas the previous new Operators Lion and Finka were both Attackers. It looks like they could be named Alibi and Maestro, if some files uncovered by zealous, excited fans to get their hands on the update are to be believed.
There's also the new Pick & Ban system, which lets you ban certain Operators from the game while you're playing. Basically, Ubisoft explains that this should provide an "extra layer" of strategy between teams. If that doesn't excite you, then perhaps a new map will. That's on the way as well!
We'll see the full reveal of the new update on May 19 and May 20, during the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals, so if you're interested in seeing what else is on offer, make sure you tune in for the deets. As an aside, isn't it good to see the game continuing to receive regular content? Warms your heart a bit, doesn't it?
